Institute for Insurance with the support of Croatian Actuarial Association organised the actuarial seminar "From Counting Risk to Making Risk Count", which was held on 30 June 2015 in the Sheraton Zagreb Hotel. The media sponsor of the seminar was World of Insurance (Svijet osiguranja) journal.
The seminar is intended for actuaries which deal with counting and managing risks. Since their work involves past data analysis, existing risks assessment and development of models for the projection of future events, participants at the seminar could hear first-hand what the leading experts in this field have to say, particulary in the time of intensive preparation for Directive Solvency II.
