Institute for Insurance and World of Insurance journal, in partnership with Croatian Actuarial Association, are organizing Actuarial seminar on 2 March 2018 in Sheraton Hotel in Zagreb, Croatia.
The seminar is intended for actuaries who deal with counting and managing risks. Since their work involves past data analysis, existing risks assessment and development of models for the projection of future events, participants at the seminar will be given a chance to hear first-hand what the leading experts in this field have to say.
Seminars and workshops will be led by experts with experience in the field of insurance - Imrich Lozsi, an actuary from Tools4F who specializes in financial reporting, value management and Solvency II and Daniel Marcinek, senior consultant in Czech E&Y, an expert in model validation and model development.2018 Speakers
The speakers will speak about challenges and possible implications for the management of insurance companies when implementing IFRS 17 and the advantages of using stochastic methods in actuarial practice through practical examples.
