Daniel Matić is a consultant with the Tillinghast insurance consulting business of Towers Perrin in Cologne, Germany:
Since joining Towers Perrin in April 2008, Mr Matic has been involved in a variety of projects, including

•  Embedded value reviews
•  Evaluation of life insurance companies
•  Review of the technical liabilities
•  Market analyses and market entry studies.

Previously, Mr Matic worked for Allianz SE for six years, starting in the life and health reinsurance department as marketing and pricing actuary where he gained experience in reinsurance, product pricing and development. In addition, he worked in group actuarial and was involved in embedded value reviews, consolidation and support and review of actuarial balances. During this period, he participated in several international projects within the Allianz Group.

Certifications/Industry Activities
Mr Matic is a qualified German Actuary (Aktuar DAV) and a member of the German Actuarial Association (DGVM).

Education
Mr Matic received a Master's degree in mathematics (Diplom-Wirtschaftsmathematiker) from the University of Bielefeld in 2002.
